The Howard County Homebrew Club began in 1997.

It has grown to over 2 dozen active members in a very short time, spawning several award winning brewers.

We have 10 members who have won 23 awards in the Indiana Brewer's Cup Competition & National Homebrew Competition in since 2008 in both the homebrew and professional categories: 

For the Homebrew;  3 Bronze, 3 Silver & 3 Gold including Best of Show in 2009 in the IBC.

1 Bronze & 1 Gold in the 1st round 2010 NHC. 

In the professional;  3 Bronze, 6 Silver & 2 Gold in the IBC.

The HCHC meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 6:00PM at:

The Half Moon has sponsored a "BIG BREW" for the club the last 3 years, supplying the wort and letting us experiment with varying hop & yeast additions to find how they can change a base beer.
