Located in picturesque Evanston, IL just north of Chicago, the Evanston Homebrew Club was founded to promote the craft of homebrewing through knowledge-sharing between members, develop an active and flourishing social network of members
through events and meetings, and promote the appreciation of craft beers. The home of the Women's Temperance Union and the birth of Prohibition, Evanston serves as a backdrop for our growing community and a testament to the progress we have made regarding craft beers and spirits.
What began as a social gathering of like-minded hobbyists, continues to grow as a formal home for brewers along the North Shore. We are privileged to have members with homebrewing experience of over two decades mixing with new comers to the hobby. Members host brew days where we can gather, brew beers and enjoy the benefits of homebrewing. We strongly and loyally support the Chicagoland breweries and brewpubs.
Meetings: We meet every third Thursday of the month at Prairie Moon (1502 Sherman Avenue, Evanston, IL) from 7:00p-10:00p in the back bar. Stop by, share some homebrew and meet a friend or three.
President: Ted Perez
