The Elmendorf Home Brewers Association meets once monthly to, brew beer, mead, wine and soda and too discuss and sample each others home brewed beverages. We currently have about 30 members.

EHBA was founded in 2004, due to the ever changing personnel on the base we have more frequent changes of members and leaders of the association than most clubs.  We find that this brings a different element than most clubs have, an ever change base of knowledge and processes of home brewing and, we are always looking for new members.

We also do a "group brew" where we select a recipe to brew.  Everyone chips in enough money to pay for the batch, we then brew it at our monthly meeting and at the following meeting try the beer.  We have found its a great way to experiment with recipes without one person having to commit to five gallons of beer and the expense that goes with it. Our most recent brew is The Gnu Formerly Known As Buddha's Gnarly Porter, it is a Black Berry Porter
