Started in 1995 by Doug & Patti Griffith, along with Sam Calagione of Dogfish Head.  Originally known as the Southern And Nearby Delaware Ale & Lager Society (SANDALS), monthly meetings have been held at the Dogfish Head pub in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware since the clubs beginning.  Changed the club name to DUH in January 2006, because no one could remember what SANDALS was an acronym for.  DUH is a more casual-style club.  Our members run the gamut from beginning brewers to professional brewers; from mead makers to wine makers.  If it's fermented, we don't discriminate.  We meet once a month to share our latest fermented creations, as well as trade tales and experiences with anyone willing to listen.  Meetings are generally held the 2nd Thursday of each month at Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware starting around 7pm.
