BEWBC is a club of about 140 beer and wine makers. It is one of the oldest "fermentation" clubs in the country (formed in 1972). Membership is limited to Boeing Employees and associates/family members (see website for details). The club alternates between beer and wine making meetings. The club runs the Puget Sound Pro-Am homebrewing competition as well as an internal Winefest competition. We have a winter and summer social with both beer and wine makers. The club sources approximately 100,000 lbs of grapes annually from 20+ vineyards and has a club store, library, and equipment for use by all members. |
